Biden Complains About Reporters Shouting Questions at Him

On Tuesday, President Biden railed against the White House press corps for their customary and longstanding practice of yelling questions as journalists were escorted out of a meeting discussing the legal restrictions on abortion and contraception.

The president had already been captured appearing to criticize the reporters as they clamoured for his attention, as seen by Biden’s tone of disbelief on Tuesday.

When reporters yelled questions at a meeting between Biden and Bongbong Marcos on September 22 in New York, the US president was recorded advising Marcos, “I wouldn’t bother answering.”

Biden’s attitude toward press inquiries has in the past irritated journalists, most notably when British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited last year and decided to respond to questions from reporters in the Oval Office over Biden’s objections.

The president has given a lot fewer interviews and news conferences than his recent predecessors, albeit briefly answering questions from the media after events at one time.

Biden made a comment on Tuesday that many reporters first failed to notice because the White House’s official video feed operators had ceased broadcasting. The White House did not react right away to The Post’s request for comment on the matter.
