Dem Admits He Wants New Leaders Instead of Biden

A Democratic Senate candidate insists that “new leaders” must take over Washington, D.C., and is prepared for his party to move on from President Joe Biden.

Tim Ryan (D-OH) stated in an interview that Biden shouldn’t seek re-election in 2024 and that both parties need to make a generational move.

My hunch is that we need new leadership across the board, Democrats, Republicans,” Ryan said when asked whether or not he thinks Biden should run again.

“I think it’s time for a generational move for new leaders on both sides. I think the environment politically across the country is poisonous and, you know, people, I think, want some change and I think it’s important for us in both parties,” he continued.

Ryan asserted that he is running for office as a “independent” and has taken steps to separate himself from Biden. Ryan responded that he is not really asking anyone when questioned about why he has not welcomed Biden to Ohio.

Ryan gave an explanation of his decision to run as an Independent, stating that he supports and opposes various positions held by both Republicans and Democrats.

Ryan has supported Biden up until this point even though he believes he no longer belongs in the White House.
