Merrick Garland’s Latest Dirty Trick To Protect The Bidens

Merrick Garland, the current Attorney General, may have just used his last trump card to save Joe Biden by delaying the prosecution of Biden’s son Hunter by appointing a special counsel.

One month after the 2024 presidential election, in December, the Justice Department will hopefully release its final report on the scandalous goings-on in the Biden family.

The most honorable Washington cover-up fraud is to keep a probe going.

The probe into Hunter’s illegal gun sales, tax evasion, and lobbying for foreign interests was dragged out for five years by various federal agencies including the Justice Department.

Several of his offenses were beyond the statute of limitations, but that was fine because of how he spelled his last name.

Biden’s Justice Department worked out a compromise in June that allowed Hunter to plead guilty to misdemeanors without serving a day in jail and without facing any further federal charges, despite a history of criminal behavior that would have sent the average American up the river for a decade.

After being caught off guard by a sweeping exoneration line added to the plea deal at the last minute, federal Judge Maryellen Noreika asked a few questions, causing the deal to fall apart.

Hunter Biden feared a federal trial if no agreement could be reached.

On Friday, however, Garland appointed David Weiss as special counsel, saving Hunter.

Joe Biden has complete faith in Weiss. He’s the same lawyer who dragged out prosecuting Hunter for years.

Former White House correspondent Emerald Robinson quipped, “Appointing David Weiss is like appointing a crack pipe to ‘investigate’ Hunter Biden.”

According to The Federalist’s Sean Davis, “Weiss demonstrated his loyalty to the Biden family by shutting down investigations, tipping off suspects before searches . . . refusing to interview Hunter, hiding FBI documents, firing IRS investigators . . .”

Weiss, who carved the “favored son” plea deal, was scheduled to testify before the House Judiciary Committee next month.

The Biden administration may ignore legislative demands for testimony and evidence now that he has been appointed special counsel and can instead point to a “ongoing investigation.”

On June 7, Weiss said he had “ultimate authority” to bring any charges against Hunter Biden he wanted.

That argument has been completely demolished by his selection as special counsel.

The appointment of Weiss as special counsel has angered Americans of all political stripes and may have pushed more dissatisfied FBI agents and other federal employees over the edge, prompting them to leak information.

The Biden administration’s narratives on the January 6th school board protests, domestic terrorism, and the FBI’s cover-up have all been destroyed by whistleblowers.

Members of Team Biden are educating the public that the phrase “Justice Department” is often misleading.

After the Biden administration, who would have faith in the federal government’s ability to oversee its own affairs?
