Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney who brought the case against Donald Trump, is one of many prosecutors who enjoy the backing of extreme-left billionaire George Soros. According to the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund, a group that represents police personnel who are accused of crimes, “If you’re just learning about Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg today, you need to know he’s just the tip of the iceberg. The US currently has at least 75 Soros-backed social justice prosecutors – supported through campaign dollars and/or Soros-funded progressive infrastructure group.”
As prosecutors are light on crime and so help fuel revolutionary upheaval on the country’s streets, they are increasingly seen as a means of introducing “progressive” concepts into the criminal justice system. After a few days after taking office, Bragg in New York informed his staff that a wide range of crimes would no longer be prosecuted. They included some drug charges and prostitution.
A map of such prosecutors across the US has been supplied by the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund, along with information on who was supported by Soros and how much they received. Alvin Bragg is one of them, along with Kim Foxx, the state’s attorney for Cook County, who earned $2 million, George Gascon, the district attorney for Los Angeles, who received $4.7 million in funding, and Lawrence Krasner, the district attorney for Philadelphia, who received $1.3 million.
The intention to destroy the criminal justice system is a component of a larger far-left strategy to destroy democratic and capitalist countries. Defunding the police became a popular cause in 2020 as liberals attacked law and order by charging police departments and individual officers with racism and intolerance.
The Democratic Party’s embrace of the motto has placed it at the center of contemporary politics. It has enabled the development of ludicrous policies, such as the one in California that aims to provide each and every black person in the state with tens of thousands or even millions of dollars.
