In her scathing critique of President Joe Biden’s handling of the border issue on Wednesday, Republican Senator Katie Britt (R-AL) emphasized the terrifying difficulties that border patrol employees face.
A record-breaking 11,000 migrants are said to have entered the United States in one weekend, breaking previous records. Media coverage of their actions and their exploitation of migrants was advocated by Britt.
The senator said, “We have put forth solution after solution!”
She continued by recalling the horrific incidents of women who spoke of being sexually assaulted repeatedly and the terrible toll it took on them. “When a woman sits there and she tells you not just about being raped, but how many times a day she’s raped. It’s disgusting and it’s despicable.”
The senator also discussed the terrible border deaths, blaming them on Biden’s policies, which in her opinion have made it more appealing for migrants to try the risky voyage. She mentioned border patrol agents discovering drowned infants and a pregnant woman with twins’ lifeless bodies.
Others have voiced reservations about the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis in addition to Britt’s passionate address. During a recent interview on Laura Ingraham’s show, Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX) expressed a similar viewpoint and painted a similarly bleak image of the present situation at the southern border.
According to US Customs and Border Enforcement, there were a startling 232,972 migrant interactions at the southern border in August. It is obvious that the issue is becoming worse. The amount is the highest not just for the entire year but also for the month of August.
